7 days on the dock. Refugiees in Greece.

Diane Grimonet spent seven days on the dock E1 in the Piraeus harbour of Athens. She did it in March 2016. Without following most of the media, she avoided going to Idomeni, a village on the border between Greece and Macedonia, which focussed everyone's attention. « In Piraeus, refugiees are both forgotten by governments and media ». Pictures testify for that forgotten life, in an area where land so many refugiees arriving from Syria or Afghanistan. « They are waiting, treated like cattle. It's awful! These people are exhausted, out of energy. There are a lot of children, single women, elderly persons with their suitcases and survival blankets ». The photos show explicitely and yet without pathos the conditions of living for those people who grounded on the coasts of Europe that keeps its doors shut..
