Everyday life of a family in Algeria.

That family lives near Algiers, in the municipality of Bachdjerrah, a south-east suburb of the capital, built after the independance with two bedroom communities and two big districts. As many others in Algeria, the family is neither rich nor poor and opened its door with simplicity to the photographer, Diane Grimonet. Three generations live in the same house with average incomes, mixing tradition and modernity, resignation and hope in a better tomorrow.
